Solar Project at Kg. Bawie, Sarawak completed
The Gramma Seva/Village Improvement Team recently completed the Solar project in Kg. Bawie, Sarawak, They worked with Mitsubishi Electric Asia-Pacific to get a Solar powered DC light system installed for the community hall. Bro Hamish Ravindran said, “It was quite an amazing experience as the MEAP folks rallied together and donated the entire system to us for free after learning about our intentions to help these villagers.” Kampung Bawie in Sarawak is just one of the many villages, the team is working with.
From the jungle terrains of Borneo to the riversides of Semenanjung, the Village Improvement Team (VIP), a team of professionals consistently for many years have reached many poverty stricken areas travelling as long as 12 hours through long winding paths to bring medical care and food to deprived rural people.
Sometimes spending days and weeks at these villages, the team builds basic amenities and provide healthy alternatives to the lifestyles of these indigenous tribes.
