SSEHV programme receives positive support from Headmasters in NS/Malacca
The SSEHV programme has been introduced to Tamil school Headmasters and teachers in Negeri Sembilan and Malacca via two sessions that were held in the respective regions both in the month of August 2011.
The sessions were conducted by Dr Suresh Govind, President of Sathya Sai Council of Malaysia with the hope that the programme would be absorbed in the Tamil school curriculum in the 2 states.
In Melaka, 74 Headmasters and reps attended the session which was held in S.R.J.K (T) Jasin on 5th August 2011, while in Seremban it was held in Sek.Men.Teknik Tuanku Jaafar, Seremban on 17th Aug 2011 and was attended by 72 Headmasters. Both programmes were organized in collaboration with the Kementerian Pendidikkan Bahagian Sek.Ren.Tamil of the respective states.
Feedback received from the headmasters of both the states was positive and overwhelming. To date, 4 schools in Melaka have already stated that they want the programmes introduced in their schools. The first training session will be conducted for about 58 Tamil school teachers in Malacca on the 8th and 9th Oct 2011 at SRJK (T) Jasin. The dates for the training of Negeri Sembilan teachers will be announced in due course.
